The High Commission of Guyana in India is the official diplomatic representation of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana to the Republic of India along with the Honorary Consul located in Mumbai.

The High Commission is charged with advancing Guyana’s foreign policy objectives with regard to bilateral relations with the Republic of India, and the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, to which the High Commission is concurrently accredited.

Accordingly, the High Commission acts as a conduit for investment and the promotion of trade by facilitating important and necessary linkages. It also provides consular services to and supports the needs of Guyanese in India and parts of Asia and serves as platform for cultural engagement through the promotion of tourism and the commemoration/observation of Guyanese traditions.
