REQUIREMENTS

 

To apply for an Emergency (Travel) Certificate, you would be required to submit the following: 

 

  1. Proof of Citizenship: Passport Biodata page

  2. 2 passport size photos.

  3. Valid Identification Card: detailing age, height. (Guyana ID or OCI card) 

  4. Travel Itinerary 
           -  Valid one-way ticket from India to Guyana.

  5. An Exit Permit from the FRRO office. 

  6. In the case of a lost or stolen passport, an FIR report is to be submitted. 

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Applicants are required to submit a letter of request detailing the reason for desiring a travel certificate, along with all relevant supporting original documents to the Consular Section of the High Commission in New Delhi.

-Consular Hours: 

                            Submission: Mon-Fri 

 09:30 hrs- 12:30 hrs. 

                            Collection:   Mon-Thurs 

 14:00 hrs-16:00 hrs 

 Friday
             14:00 hrs-15:00 hrs     

FEE:   Rupees 2,500

Return Courier fee
*In the case of couriered documents, an additional Rupees 600 is required to be paid as a return courier fee. 

ALL VISA FEES ARE TO BE PAID UPFRONT AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. PLEASE TRANSFER THE HIGH COMMISSION IS NOT IN A POSITION TO REFUND ANY EXCESS
